I have always admired the ethos of the Patagonia Company and noted with delight this incredibly awesome take on what fast food is. Using their own Patagonia Provisions salmon to create this fantastic meal in a hurry, how can you not be inspired by their use of microgreens and other  mix and match ingredients (try different varieties of microgreens or sprouts, labne instead of cream cheese, sprouted bagels, etc.) to create a masterpiece of fast food. Here is the link to their blog entry.

Picturemicro romaine lettuce at 13 days from seed, each little plant is a little head of romaine lettuce
Conventional wisdom tells us that the nutritional benefits of having a nice green salad with our meals is an essential part of our quest for a healthy lifestyle. What if you could get your nutrients by a simple addition to your sandwich or meals. What a thought!

We do know that romaine is one of the most nutrient packed of the salad greens. We also know the microgreen form of vegetables can provide 4-30 times the nutrients of their mature plants. So what you can do is provide just a little of our romaine microgreens as an addition to your sandwich or meats and get the nutritional benefits of a salad or romaine lettuce.

Our Micro Romaine kit provides six of these trays that you would grow and harvest at anywhere from 10-21 days from seed to fork.
